AquaPhon A200 Overview:

Sewerin brand AQUAPHON A200 system is great for both the pre-location and pinpointing of leaks. The water leak detection system is able to simplify the process of detecting leaks in water pipes.  In fact, due to the outstanding quality of its microphone, you get intelligent analysis and visual representation of any results on the display.  With wireless handling and an ergonomic, easy-to-use hand-held receiver, you are able to accurately locate leaks.

In addition, the Aquaphon A200 Receiver comes with an integrated GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System).  When the leak is identified, the system stores the user’s current geographical position, which can then downloaded for documentation.  In addition, the user can associate noises taken at a geographical location with the location data.

How it works:

As a water flows out at the site of the leak, it produces a vibration along the material of the pipe.  The user hears these vibrations as structure-borne noise when using Sewerin’s cutting-edge microphones. Points of contact, such as fittings can be used to hear the leak and follow the sound back to it’s source.

Users save Measurements on the Sewerin AQUAPHON A200 and then transfer them to a PC for further analysis.  The Water Com software that comes built in to the unit will automatically transfer data.  You can set up different user and data profiles for better analysis.  Once saved, users can show the location of each measurement on a map like Google Maps.  Then you can edit the positions and add notes to save information such as location name or user information.  Of course, you can generate a PDFs of the data.
