D18-HD Self-Leveling Camera Overview:

The Vivax Metrotech D18-HD Camera is a 0.70″ fixed position color drain camera for inspecting plumbing. This .70″ diameter high-definition color camera has excellent visibility thanks to the adjustable brightness of its LEDs.  It works well in pipe diameters ranging from one to three inches.

vCamDrain Compatibility:

The D18-HD Camera works with the Vivax Metrotech vCamDrain.  You can also buy it separately and easily change it yourself.

This camera provides ultra-bright LEDs which produce bright, clear images of the pipe’s interior.  Additionally, the drag-resistant slick jacketing allows it to go through multiple bends, tight turns, p-traps, and toilet traps. In fact, users can also change both the camera head and the spring/sonde assembly with built-in 512Hz frequency sonde.

Standard D18-HD Features:

Your new D18-HD camera will come with a standard sized skid to reduce wear on the exterior of the camera.  The D18-HD produces 48 lumens from a stainless-steel housing with scratch-resistant Sapphire lens. In addition, it provides water resistance up to 11 BAR pressure. The high-definition, 1080p, picture can be used in pipe diameters ranging from 1 1/2 inches to 3 inches.

Another important feature is the Vivax-Metrotech exchange program which allows users to send in their old cameras for a rebuilt camera at a reduced cost. Because of this valuable feature, users can reduce the overall cost of owning the vCamDrain compared to other systems.
