D22 Sonde Overview:

The Vivax-Metrotech D22 Sonde is a self-contained battery powered transmitter.  The user can propel it through a non-metallic pipe or duct in order to locate the pipe.  Once the sonde is in the pipe, the user can locate the sonde on the surface with a sonde locator or utility locator that has sonde mode.

Sondes are also built into other products such as a sewer inspection camera. The D22 Sonde is specifically designed for receivers with frequencies of 9.8kHz or 83kHz.  So please note that you will need to choose one of these frequencies before purchasing.  See our Sonde Chart for a comparison of available sondes.  And if you have any questions, feel free to call us for help.
