The EX-TEC PM series (EX-TEC PM 500/ 550/ 580) by Sewerin provides gas leak detection, measuring and warning. It can be used to locate leaks in freely accessible gas pipes, assess the risk of explosion and determine whether toxic gases are within the occupational exposure limits (OEL). It displays the carbon monoxide concentration in the room air and triggers an audible and visual alarm if the values are too high. Toxic carbon monoxide is produced by combustion equipment, such as heating systems, as a result of insufficient ventilation and poses a risk to humans.
The EX-TEC PM 580 provides an ergonomic hand-held device that makes the detection of these risks easier. It boasts a sharp display that can be easily read, even in direct sunlight. The 4-key control panel allows for efficient and user-friendly interface with the robust functions available. Non-slip rubberized housing fits securely in the hand, and has an optional belt clip if desired. The device is explosion-proof and IP65-protected.
