Product Description
Type-B Adjustable Skid Overview:
The Vivax Metrotech Type-B Skid is designed to keep the camera head centered in pipes and off the floor, avoiding debris and obstructions. Also, the Type-B Skid has adjustable settings for use in pipe diameters from 8” to 15”. When the skid is completely collapsed it can be used in 8’’ pipes. The user just needs a small, flat screwdriver to remove the standard skid from the camera. Once you remove the smaller skid, you can slide the Type-B skid over the camera and secure it using an 8mm hex key. See user guide for more detailed information.
Compatibility:
The Type-B Adjustable Skid works with the Vivax Metrotech D46-HD and D34-HD series camera attached to the 12mm termination spring on the Type-CP reel. This adjustable skid works best in straight run applications such as running from manhole to manhole. An optional light kit is available to provide additional lighting in larger pipes. You can purchase it with or without the additional light ring. However, without the additional light ring, the D34 or D46 will light the pipe.
