Sewer Camera Skids Overview:
Your Vivax-Metrotech vCam system will come with a standard skid to help protect and center the camera in the pipe, but there are additional camera skids are available. These come in wider diameters in order that help the camera sit taller in the pipe and remain centered.
Compatibility:
Our camera skids are compatible with the Vivax Metrotech vCam-6 systems as well as the vCamMX systems. These systems come with two sizes of cameras each. So for the vCam-6 pipe inspections systems, you will choose either the D34 or D46. If you have the vCamMX mini plumbing camera, you will choose either the D18 or D26. Once you select your option above, the available skids for that model will appear.

Pipe Range:
See the chart in the picture above to determine the size pipe range. However, the pipe range for the total range is from 4″ to 6.” An additional, Type-B Skid can be purchased for the larger cameras that will center it in 10″ to 16″ pipe as well.
If you have an older camera inspection system, we also carry some of the older models, but please call or contact us for available sizes and applications for your needs. Some older models will require a different size.
