vCam Mobile Controller App Overview:

The vCam Mobile Controller App (VMC) allows the user to connect a smartphone or tablet to the Vivax Metrotech vCam-6 , vCamMX-2, or vCamDrain via WiFi.  Once connected, the user can stream live video into the app and use the information as needed using native smartphone apps, such as email or text.

Once the app is connected, you will see what is on the controller LCD duplicated on your tablet or smartphone.  With this tool contractors and managers can keep outside parties informed, without having everyone on the jobsite.  One great feature of the VMC app is the ability to use the tablet or smartphone as a text writer when using the vCamMX-2 system. When using the keyboard in the app, the text will be sent directly to the control module’s screen in real-time.

In addition, the user can use the smartphone or tablet to write text directly on the control module’s screen in real time.  This allows the user to type using their smartphone or tablet.
