vCamDrain Wireless Drain Camera Overview:
The Vivax Metrotech vCamDrain drain camera inspection system gives you a wireless system controlled by the VMX app. Designed with flexibility and pushing strength that works for lines from 1.5 to 3 inches. The drain camera’s stainless-steel 18mm diameter HD camera with sapphire lens and ultra-bright LED produces bright, clear images of the pipe’s interior.
Additionally, the drag-resistant slick jacketing allows it to navigate multiple bends, tight turns, p-traps, and toilet traps. Users can also change both the camera head and the spring/sonde assembly themselves.
The reel is powered by internal li-ion batteries providing clean, long-life power. For this reason, the reel is supplied with an AC charger and DC vehicle power lead. A 6-hour charge will provide 10-hours of power with intermittent sonde use.
Connectivity:
The vCam Mobile Controller (VMC) App controls all the reel functions. In fact, when connected to the reel by wi-fi, the app operates the camera head’s LEDs, activates the sonde and resets the reel’s distance counter. Additionally, the app shows the reel’s wi-fi status, battery level and charging status.
When you download the free app, you stream the vCamDrain video from the control module and manipulate it. In fact, the vCam Mobile Controller App allows you to stream video and write text over the video. Download the app for free from the Apple or Google Play stores.
Available Upgrades:
In addition the standard .70″ D18-HD Camera is also self-leveling. There is also an available reel carry bag to make transportation and mess containment easier. A tablet holder adapter can also be purchased to mount onto the reel for hands-free viewing.
