Type-CP Red Reel Overview:

Vivax-Metrotech designed the Type-CP Red Reel as a rugged, lightweight, compact reel made specifically for heavy-duty applications in which a more rigid rod would be useful. This 13mm heavy-duty pushrod is compatible with the vCam-6 Control Module and cameras.  The vCam-6 system in general provides an easy solution for plumbers, contractors, home inspectors, building maintenance supervisors.  In fact, the system is useful for anyone looking to inspect the interior of a duct or pipe.

Standard Features:

The Vivax Metrotech Type-CP Reel stainless-steel cage carries a fiberglass rod surrounded by multi conductors and coax wrapped in a Kevlar braid.   Most importantly, covering all of this is a high-density Polyethylene jacket, collectively known as the “pushrod.”  In addition, the top of the steel cage comes with an integrated mounting bracket designed to work with the vCam Control Modules. In addition, users can use the reel upright or lay it down due to the rubber feet on the bottom and side.

Type-CP Reel Available Upgrades and Configurations:

The pushrod comes in various lengths and diameters depending upon the customer’s needs.  The Type-CP Red Reel 13mm pushrod lengths are 200ft, 300ft, and 400ft.  These can all be used with either the D34-HD camera or the D46-HD camera.  There is also an available 12mm standard pushrod which provides a slightly more flexible rod for regular applications.  Give us a call if you need more information, 281-969-8530.
