The SeCorr C 200 by Sewerin detects leaks in underground pipelines, so they can be located reliably, quickly and accurately. The SeCorr C 200 is recommended for your everyday leak detection scenario. It can measure different pipe sections, pipe materials, diameters and pipe lengths. Once the pipeline data has been entered and the measurement started, all other steps are performed without the intervention of the user. The measured noises are constantly analyzed in the background and the optimal filter settings are being selected.
How it works:
Location with a correlator involves simultaneously measuring the noises caused by a leak on the pipeline at two fittings. Highly-sensitive microphones record the noises on the fittings, radio transmitters send the signals to a receiver the correlator which determines the time lag between the noises reaching the two measuring points. The correlator then calculates the exact leak position based on the entered pipe length and the pipe material and diameter.
Measurements saved on the SeCorr C200 can be transferred to a PC for further analysis using a USB connector. Data is transferred automatically using the integrated Water Com software. The software also allows for different user and data profiles to be set up for better analysis. The position of each location for each measurement can be shown on a map such as Google Maps. Once in the system, the positions can be edited and notes can be added to save information such as location name or user information. PDFs can be generated if paper documentation is needed.
