D64 Sonde
Product Description
D64 Sonde Overview:
The D64 Sonde is a large sonde with a rugged casing suitable for municipal sewer systems. It is designed to be used in non-metallic pipes and ducts in order to make the pipe available to locate. The user can propel it through a non-metallic pipe or duct in order to locate the pipe. Once the sonde is in the pipe, the user can locate the sonde on the surface with a sonde locator or utility locator that has sonde mode.
Sondes are also built into other products such as a sewer inspection camera. The D64 Sonde needs to be ordered specifically for the frequency being used. This sonde is available in a 33kHz, 9.82kHz, or 83kHz model. It operates on 1 x 9-volt alkaline battery and has an approximate battery life of 15 hours.
Other Options:
Sondes come in a variety of sizes and frequencies. These variations are important when you are working with different size pipe at differing depths. See our Sonde Chart for a comparison of available sondes.
Compatibility:
The D64 Sonde is compatible with multiple Vivax-Metrotech receivers. See list and links below. Feel free to call us if you need to verify compatibility with a receiver not listed here.
